“The biggest problem was coming up with content. In BTC I learned the content is right in front of you.”

Meet Erin Poole, the content manager at LKR. I asked her five questions, and here’s what she said:

1. What did you think about blogging BEFORE enrolling in Blog that Converts (BTC)?

Before BTC I thought of blogging as simply a way of writing down thoughts and tips.

I never thought about the different types of posts there are and what different types of post can do for leads.

2. What did you think about blogging AFTER going through the training?

After the training and having some time to implement, I really realized you can do so much with blogging. There are so many different types of posts.

This month, we are implementing many of Derek Halpern’s “Content Archetypes” on our blog.

3. What big problem were you facing BEFORE BTC? What from BTC helped you solved that problem?

The biggest problem was coming up with content. In BTC I learned the content is right in front of you.

4. What specific results have you achieved as the result of this training? Please use hard numbers if applicable. If no numbers, just be as specific as possible.

As of now, we have applied just started to add links into our guides.

We now have a solid editorial type of calendar , where we take advantage of several of the content archetypes inside Blog that Converts.

5. What would you tell another “new student” of Blog that Converts? What words of advice would you have now that you’ve gone through the program?

I would tell them to go through the course, do the worksheets and go through it again and again.

There is admittedly a lot of content but a lot of GREAT content. It’s important to apply one thing at a time and do it awesome.

Constantly audit your blog and see how you can make it better.

It may all seem overwhelming at first so the fact that it’s always available is a huge appeal to the program.
