When I signed up for BTC I was following my gut. It was a major financial investment for me and not for 1 second have I regretted that choice.

Meet Karen Daniels, an author, single-mother, and freelance writer who’s starved for time. I asked her three questions, and here’s what she said:

1. When working on your blog, what was your biggest struggle? Andhow did Blog that Converts help you overcome it?

One of my biggest struggles was to figure out what aspects of my blog I should focus on – what would really work and be the best use of my time.

I had already had my blog for more than a year when I started the course (and oh how I wish I’d known all this before!) As an author, single mother, and freelance writer, I’m in constant need of working smarter.

BTC gave me specific actionable ideas which worked as soon as I put them into practice – feature box, article types, and resource pages. The information in BTC has helped me work a lot smarter rather than just working more on my blog.

I consider the course my blueprint for creating and maintaining a successful blog.

2. What specific results have you achieved since enrolling in Blog that Converts? Please use hard numbers where necessary. If you don’t have any numbers, be as specific as possible.

I’ve attached a report with the analytics which show the impact of BTC – even now, when I’ve had a few months of focusing on other projects and basically ignored my blog, my traffic is higher and my conversions are better.

My subscriber list is more than doubled from before the BTC course and I know every time I focus on my blog and use Derek’s techniques, I’ll get more conversions.

3. Anything else you think we should know about.

Money is tight in my house so I’m very selective about where I spend money. I pretty much figure I can research and figure out anything myself so I often decide not to spend money on courses.

When I signed up for BTC I was following my gut. It was a major financial investment for me and not for 1 second have I regretted that choice.

I know the BTC information will continue to help me work better and get more results – which is vital since as an author, online is how I make my living.

AND, it can’t go without be said that the other BTC students are awesome, helpful, and a huge bonus in this whole process and the private FB group we have is invaluable.
